Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Plazas, Diana Molina and David Plazas.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It all started five years ago (2014) with a shared family passion for fitness and health. I, Andrea Plazas, a graduated health coach, Diana Molina, a fitness passionate and David plazas a juice enthusiast realized that we as a generation were part of a new lifestyle were most of our daily habits were around clean food, going to the gym and preventive medicine. Our family chiropractor mentioned the Gerson Institute, a professional healing institute for cancer, for us to dig more into our juicing curiosities. We decided to take a trip together to Sand Diego to learn more. This trip was life-changing for us as siblings juicing was not only preventive but it help cancer patients with their HEALING process this was a game changer for us and we began to dream of a juice bar based on a better lifestyle for our generation “GREEN-G” stands for our green generation.
As first time young entrepreneurs, the road has had its challenging stages, it has been all about trial and error while gaining experience in the juicing industry. When we started you can say there was little competition and our customers knew little about COLD-PRESSED JUICE, we had to get creative with our juice bar model as well as our menu after all it was a whole new concept in Miami plus we were a family business with little to invest in marketing to help educate our customers. We can also say that creating our own recipes for the first time with no previous experience was challenging but extremely fun difficult, it was like been in a chemistry room plus off-course the day to day mishaps of any start-up business.
Green G Juice bar prides on quality ingredients and nutrient-packed recipes “superfoods all over our menu”. We specialize in cold-pressed juice, Acai Bowls and Protein Smoothies. As a company, we are most proud to be pioneers of our industry and our capability of providing ready to go juices to our costumers as fresh as it can get while using our favorite cold-pressed method. What sets GreenG apart from other juice bars in Miami is our method of how we craft all of our products which also creates challenging business decisions. At Green G your Acai Bowl is a recipe made by Green G, we don’t but a mix of Acai, we Craft each bowl making it a more fresh tasty bowl with the downside of having to wait a little bit more than in other juice bars but HEY you get quality and it matters right?. Your smoothies at greeng come with protein to enhance your workouts and we packed them with superfoods its not you regular fruits and veggies smoothie. Last at not least we don’t HPP our juices meaning your juice is only good for 3 days, you have the commodity of drinking it the same day or save it for the afternoon or next day. You can not do that with a centrifugal juice that other juice bars offer. With our Green-G juices you get the luxury of storing high quality juice for your next day fast paced day!

We love that our city recognizes the importance of being active and continues to grow towards a more health-conscious community. If we had to pinpoint something it would be the lack of knowledge on the importance of juicing and the cold-pressed method. We feel that Miami could value more the benefits of cold-pressed juicing in their daily lifestyle.
